About

Real solutions…

Dave Memke is an Industrial Designer with extensive experience developing user-focused, creative solutions for consumer products, packaging and mobile computing products and hardware interfaces for AI and ML. Throughout his career, he has been involved in virtually every aspect of the product development process.  Dave is currently seeking a new role.

His “from the inside-out” approach to ID has proven to reduce development time and eliminate unnecessary rework loops. During his five year tenure at Honeywell, Dave led the ID effort on three major, multi-million dollar mobile computer programs.  He also participated in the overhaul of the Honeywell design language system and was involved in (or led) many minor design efforts.

At Intermec Technologies, Dave worked closely with clients and customers around the globe, participating in product development and VOC/OVOC activities.  The information gained provided valuable feedback on design and usability from a user’s perspective in a wide variety of cultures and deployment environments.  These efforts uncovered many potential Industrial Design opportunities, and identified countless unique problems to be solved.

Dave thrives on collaborative problem-solving in one-on-one and team settings.  He has been named in many design and utility patents, working with team members to inject innovation into the design and development process.  Over the years, Dave has fostered valuable professional relationships with many 3D, 2D and UI/UX designers, design researchers, mechanical and electrical engineers, product marketing managers, vendors and corporate executives.

When he is not designing great products, Dave stays busy playing music and hiking the beautiful Pacific Northwest with his family and dogos.
